- What is Washed?
- Washed is a monthly in-home laundry subscription in Lomé. A trained washerwoman comes to your home once or twice a month and washes your laundry on-site, with your own water and soap.
- Is Washed a laundromat or a dry cleaner?
- No. Washed is not a laundromat or a dry cleaner: your laundry is never taken away. A washerwoman comes and washes it at your home, on-site. Washed is the platform that connects you with a trusted washerwoman.
- Is laundry washed at my home or taken away?
- Everything is washed at your home, on-site, with your own water and soap. Nothing leaves your home — you stay in control of your clothes and your products.
- How much does it cost?
- Four plans: Essentiel 3 000 XOF/month (1 visit) and Confort 4 500 XOF/month (2 visits) for one person; Famille Essentiel 10 000 XOF/month and Famille Complet 20 000 XOF/month for a household of 2+ people.
- How do I pay?
- Mobile money only: Mixx by Yas or Flooz. No bank cards. You pay Washed, not the washerwoman directly.
- How much laundry can I have washed per visit?
- Up to 40 item-equivalents per visit. Each item has a number based on its weight (light 1, heavy garments 2, large linen 3, very heavy 5); add them up and stay under 40.
- Can I cancel or pause?
- Yes. You can cancel anytime, free and no questions asked. You can also pause your subscription (skip-month) for free up to twice a year.
- Is it always the same washerwoman?
- Yes, always the same washerwoman on every visit. You choose the day and time window that suit you.
- Who are the Washed washerwomen?
- Trained washerwomen, close to your home in Lomé. You keep the same washerwoman on every visit, for a relationship built on trust over time.
- What do I need to provide?
- Your water and soap, as usual. The washerwoman brings her skill and care; there is nothing else to prepare.
- Where is the service available?
- In Lomé, Togo. The service is in pre-launch for 2026 — join the waitlist to be notified as soon as we launch in your neighbourhood.

- How do I become a Washed washerwoman?
- Sign up on the “Become a washerwoman” page. We are recruiting washerwomen in Lomé for dignified, paid, regular work.
